Our initial consultation is completely free and serves as an introduction to both our services and the AIP (Active Investor Plus) New Zealand Golden visa program. This is an open and informative conversation designed to help you explore all aspects of the opportunity and determine whether it aligns with your goals.
There is no obligation to proceed if our approach or offering doesn’t resonate with you. However, should you choose to move forward, you can be assured of a highly personalised and fully aligned experience — tailored to support your journey every step of the way.
If happy to proceed we will arrange the visa application and go through the process of appointing a suitable immigration lawyer.
Visa Application
We have partnered with leading immigration lawyers in New Zealand who guide you through each step of the process, ensuring all requirements are met with accuracy, efficiency, and full compliance.
To streamline your experience and optimise both time and cost, Sovereign Privé provides access to a secure, encrypted platform where you can conveniently upload all necessary documents and personal information. This allows us to gather and organise your details in advance, significantly reducing the administrative workload for the legal team.
Once we are confident that all required information has been collected and is in order, we will schedule a formal handover and briefing with your appointed immigration lawyer.
Following this, your application will be formally prepared for submission to Immigration New Zealand, after which we will move on to the next phase: determining how your assets will be managed in accordance with the program’s requirements.
Managing Your Assets
The immigration process will take approximately four months. In some cases, this may be shorter if the application is straightforward, or slightly longer for more complex situations.
During this time, we will begin the process of selecting a suitable asset manager who can compliantly oversee the investment of your funds in line with the requirements set by the New Zealand Government under the AIP (Active Investor Plus) New Zealand Golden visa program.
As part of our relationship-driven approach, we aim to appoint an investment management firm that not only meets your financial objectives but also aligns with your broader values and preferences. In certain cases, there may also be an opportunity to connect you directly with the fund manager, depending on your needs and the structure of the investment.
